The book Post-pandemic Urbanism edited by Doris Kleilein and Friederike Meyer investigates recent disruptive upheavals caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, which pose a challenge architecture and urban planning. The see new spaces for action opening up, but also wonder about whether they are being utilised. The chapter Notes on the Just City looks at how the pandemic has dramatically increased inequality worldwide and argues that it is ever more important to question the economic system upon which most of our exchanges are based.
