From February 2021, Stella will work join the interdisciplinary team of researchers and pedagogues at GTAS. She studied geography, sociology and spatial psychology at the Ruhr University Bochum and Humboldt University Berlin, held a Marie Curie scholarship at the University of Amsterdam at the Institute for Metropolitan Research and later in the PhD program at the Bartlett School of Architecture at University College London. Beyond this, she has worked in the Foresight and Innovation Team at Arup’s London and is scientific advisor to the Sensatsverwaltung Berlin and its partner VisitBerlin. In 2018 she also founded and continues to lead Pirol Studioin Berlin Schöneberg together with a colleague. She is an active member of the Chor der Statistik – as a project of the House of Statistics in Berlin and is engaged in the project for the future design of the „Fontanepromenade15 – Employment Center for Jews 1938-1945„ in Berlin Kreuzberg.
She joins GTAS on the Tandem Project ViSe - Virtual City Exploration.
